King Street Housing Society is a member of Key Communities - www.keycommunities.org.uk – an exciting new development partnership that stretches from the Wash to the Severn.
The partnership has been formed in response to the Housing Corporation move towards development partnering and combines local strengths with economies of scale.
The lead partner is Bedfordshire-based bpha, which has partner status with the Housing Corporation
Other members of the group are Iceni Homes (Suffolk Housing, Colne Housing and Cotman Housing Societies), the Papworth Trust and the Howard Cottage Society.
bpha will act as the Society’s development agent and the Society will manage bpha’s stock in the Cambridge area. The Society aims to develop up to 40 new homes every year and membership of Key Communities should help us to achieve this.
